C. 400 - 200 BC - Late to Ptolemaic Period
A large limestone amulet of a naked youth most probably Harpocrates (Horus), seated with knees raised on a rectangular base with an enlarged phallus between his legs, possibly would have been clasping a tambour or drum in both hands.
Slightly damaged and repaired with some red pigment still remaining otherwise a large piece.
Size: 83mm length approx
