(Guiljelmum de Wael)WAEL VAN VRONESTEIN (Willem de) was born in Utrecht in 1582, and first belonged to the Teutonic Order, but left it and became a Jesuit in Rome in 1602, then rector of the Jesuit colleges in Maastricht, Leuven and Brussels, twice provincial of Flanders; he died in Brussels in 1659.

Vaders ende Kerckelijcke historie, ald. 1649, stated there 1754, also in Latin Corona sacratissimorum Jesu Christi vulnerum etc. Brux. 1657, in French Antv. 1651, in German Coln. 1710.
Booklet bound in parchment binding with overlapping boards. Two restorations found near the frontispiece (photo).
