Lampas is a fine textured fabric, from the French ‘lampasse’.
Forerunner of brocade, with features similar to damask fabric, the lampas was very popular since the Renaissance and reached its greatest success during the Baroque period, thanks to its patterns in relief.
This fabric, manufactured by the famous San Leucio silk factory with the finest yarns (cotton, linen and viscose), is a true craftsmanship masterpiece that can transform any space.
