France - Colonial Troops - Helmet

France - Colonial Troops - Helmet
Original - Metal - Good condition

French Casque Adrian for Colonial Troops, recognizable by the emblem of the Jumping Grenade on an Anchor.

The metal helmet is worn, but in good condition and equipped with leather interior.
The interior is equipped with dark blue (early) fabric and Horizon Bleu - coloured fabric.
The helmet does not show large dents and/or deformations and is therefore beautiful modelled.

From 1915 the helmet was produced in order to be able to provide all French troops at a rapid pace.
Each Army component had its own logo such as for example a Jumping Grenade for the Infantry, Two Crossed Cannon Barrels for the Artillery etc. etc.

The Colonial Troops formed a small part of the Army and for that a helmet with this emblem is much less common.
