For offer, a dated 1929 British Officer's Mess Uniform, named to 'Captain C. G. HOOKE' of the 'I.A.O.C.' - 'Indian Army Ordnance Corps', consisting of a jacket, waistcoat and trousers.
Jacket is complete with all rank and Corps insignia, and a pin-back, WW1 miniature medal ribbon bar for the British War & Victory medals, some surface mothing to the right cuff. .
Armpit to armpit: 46cm
Collar to lower hem: 52cm
Waistcoat has the correct 'I.A.O.C.' buttons, and is original to the uniform.
Trousers also dated to 1929, with the same tailors label and owners details.
Inside leg: 80cm
The 'I.A.O.C.' was part of the British Army, being raised in 1855, in 1922 their Crest was modified to show three canon balls and three field guns on the shield, with a Crown on top.
