Very nice detailed ancient Egyptian bronze Osiris figure, wearing Atef crown with feathers and royal Cobra.
Holding the crook and flail in his hands.
Two loops to attach and the mummy linnen.

Very rare in this condition.

Osiris was the Ancient Egyptian god of the dead, and the god of the resurrection into eternal life; ruler, protector, and judge of the deceased.
His cult originated in Abydos, where tradition locates his tomb.
Osiris was the first child of Nut and Geb, and brother of Set, Nephthys, and Isis, who was also his wife.

Material: Bronze

Provenance: Dutch private collection, before 1980s, acquired at auction in a local auction in the Netherlands.
