Ancient Greek Terracotta Corinthian Aryballos
5th/6th Century B.C.

Bulbous Greek vessel, with strap handle, with with an abstract floral decoration on body and circular bands on spout. 600 - 575 BC. 3 1/4 inches/8.25 cm high. Crack in side handle. Otherwise, appears Intact with losses as shown. Purchased from a prominent South Orange, New Jersey USA antique and ancient coin gallery @ December, 2017. The owner, A.S. advised it was purchased as a part of a group lot from an old New Jersey estate, said to be originally purchased in the early 1980s.
