Roman bronze bow fibula, anchor type with onion knob finial, a bird on the bow, leading to the head in the shape of an anchor with two phallic terminals. Rare type.

Length: 53,4 mm
Width: 45,7 mm

Good solid condition, dark green patina, complete with pin, spring and catchplate. Signs of wear consistent with age and use. See images.
