Coming up for auction is a book compiled by the German Red Cross in 1956 and 1957 by the Munich Missing Persons Tracing Service. Green, hard cover with a gold imprint. On 773 pages, details of 11,765 missing soldiers are documented, 8,006 of these are with photos. Very interesting regiments of the missing, many soldiers were missing in Stalingrad. The majority went missing in the East (Soviet Union, Poland, East Prussia, Czechoslovakia, Romania, Yugoslavia, Hungary) but also in Africa, Italy, Denmark and Germany (e.g. Berlin in the final battle). All in all, lots of tragic fortunes. The book is very comprehensive and weighs over 2 kg. Very good condition, see photos. The digital markings can only be seen in the photos and are not in the book.
Will be shipped fully insured with tracking number.
