Original - Earthenware - Excellent condition

Lot of 3 decorative historic earthenware plates for wall hanging, dedicated to the Crimean War (1853-1856), and produced in 1857 by the earthenware factory of Gien (France) in the “Eastern Expedition” series, with the numbers 3, 4 and 11.

Each of the three plates is decorated in the middle with a scene from the Crimean War, featuring the following captions:

For the pink plate, no. 3: ‘Omer Pasha at the Battle of Oltenitza’ It measures 20.5 cm in diameter.

For plate no. 4: ‘The Foot-soldiers’ Camp in Gallipoli’ It measures 20.5 cm in diameter.

For plate no. 11: ‘Bombing of Odessa’ It measures 20 cm in diameter.

They are all in excellent condition, as shown in the pictures.
