Howard Wales: (Born: February 8, 1943 - Died: December 7, 2020) was an American keyboardist who worked in a wide variety of styles.
He is perhaps best known for his collaborations with Jerry Garcia in the early 1970s.

Jerry Garcia: Jerry's first paid appearances were in 1961 at age 18 with Robert Hunter in Palo Alto.
A succession of San Francisco area bands followed until in December 1965 The Grateful Dead came together and performed at the first of Ken Kesey's Acid Tests.
