Ducati 98T - 1953.
Single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine, 98 cc, 3-speed transmission.
Body and frame set-up to be restored.
Working engine, already disassembled, opened and overhauled (piston rings replaced, cylinder polishing, valve grinding, carburettor cleaning, excellent compression, power ok).
The following parts are missing: headlight lens, rear light lens, rear brake lever, footpegs of the rider.
This motorcycle has no documents, but if you like, I will provide for collection purposes a registration certificate and an official number plate of a deregistered Ducati 98T of the same model and same year (1953), but with a different frame number.
A good project for a motorcycle that, in sports set-up, took part in the Milan - Taranto race in the early 1950s.
I don’t ship the bike, but I can provide the phone number of a Dutch motorcycle transporter working all over Europe at fair rates.
This bike must be collected in Alessandria, Italy.
