Charles-Louis Clinchamps de Malfilâtre (1732-1767), was a French poet. He is often counted among the "cursed poets", like his almost contemporary, Nicolas Gilbert.
Volume in period binding in full sheepskin binding, smooth spine adorned with a label and gilded embossing.
A sound volume, aged leather with some peeling, the headcap is open, cracked joints, cracks on the head, blunt corners. Inside in good overall condition, some light marginal foxing. The leaf of pages 109-110 has a small tear of 2 cm in the margin but not affecting the text.
