WW2.
English Navy viewer, a Barr&Stroud CF41 7x navy viewer.
It comes with the strap.
It dates from 1940.
The viewer is well maintained!!
The prism and the glasses are without damage or cracks, the glasses are not completely clean.
There are a few specks on it, if it were to be cleaned it would be perfect again.
The colour / sun and night filters work.
There are fold-out rain caps on it and the original bag with carrying strap is still there
On the left ocular cap it says: Barr & Stroud 7x CF41 Glasgow & London C. B. British patent application no. 4440/1940
The right one is marked: A.P. No. 1900A Serial no. 54759. British Patent no.435220/1934.
The oculars also have leather protective caps on the carrying strap
In short, a good viewer in a reasonable condition, which has been used by
the British Navy in WW2.
Rare and complete.
