Philip V of Bourbon (Versailles, 19 December 1683 - Madrid, 9 July 1746) was the first king of Spain of the Bourbon dynasty.

He was actually the grandson of Louis XIV of France and he ascended the throne because of his grandmother, Queen Maria Theresa, wife of the Sun King.
