These is an original Napoleonic M-1777 Musket, brought to Portugal by the invading French troops, captured the vanquished troops and then adapted for hunting, serving till the early 20th century.

The lock is marked Manuf. Imp. de St.Etienne and works at 100%.

Finished for conservation with professional Renaissance micro-crystalline wax, used by the best specialists, and museums, like the British Museum. No varnish or others.
