A large envelope containing preparatory documents for a famous TV show from the 1960s, ‘L'ami public N°1’ hosted by P. Tchernia, devoted to the work of Disney.
The envelope (large size: 42 x 34 cm) comes from Disney Studios (Burbank) in October 1968 (post stamp). It is addressed to the advertising department of Disney's office in France. The name of Pierre Tchernia, its final recipient, was added at the bottom of the envelope.
This material is intended for the promotion of the film one year after its release in the USA and 2 months before its national release in France (December 1968).
- 2 reproductions of model sheets (Size: 35.5 x 28 cm) of the Jungle book (King Louie and Baloo) as well as,
- 2 preparatory and printed line drawings (Size: 40 x 31 cm), one representing Baloo (numbered 139 in pencil in the animation channel) and the other King Louie (numbered 52).
The whole set is in good condition, with some discreet folds here and there and some wear (without any missing piece) on the envelope.
