José Moselli’s ex-libris on the inner front cover. José Moselli’s (Joseph, Théophile Maurice Moselli’s pen name) bookplate. He was born on 28 August 1882 in Paris in the 9th arrondissement1 and died on 21 July 1941 in Cannet. He was a French author of murder mysteries and science fiction, stories and children’s and young adult books and popular adventure stories.

Collection of two highly documented books by Dulaure previously published in 1805. Fetishism, monuments, altars, Temples, rough stones, obelisks, Pyramids, cult of Mercury, Venus, the dead, cult of the Phallus, mandrakes, the feast of fools, processions, public floggings etc.
