Mainline History: The steam locomotives of the series 25 of the Belgian State Railways National Railway Company of Belgium (SNCB/NMBS), are steam locomotives of the original series 50 of the DB. One unit (the 25.021), was war booty and was a locomotive of the series 150 X which was built by the firm Cail in France. This locomotive was then also reclassified as the series 25. These locomotives achieved a maximum speed of 80 km/h and were used for freight transport.
