The 25 machines of the series 4000 are the largest ever built in series steam locomotives in the world. The officially used nickname "Big Boy" sounds rather modest for this. A 40 meter long giant with four large cylinders, a capacity of more than 6.200 hp. Particularly impressive was the background noise that accompanied such a monster. With the new sound effects circuit, the H0-model brings the typical sound of the great steam engines in operation and a selection of background noises, which can be separately activated. The full range of acoustic features in operation at the central station of the program Systems is switchable.
Tested and fully functional.
