24mo, pages: (40 unnumbered) 494 (but actually 492) (12 unnumbered), rustic hardcover with handwritten title on the spine, framed title page, engraved head-, tailpieces and drop caps. Fernando Colombo (1488–1539) was the (illegitimate) second son of Christopher and Beatriz Enriquez de Arana, and followed his father in 1502 on his last voyage to the Americas, in which the area of Central America was explored. Very rare edition (3 copies found in Italian public libraries for the OPAC-SBN catalogue). A few rare woodworm holes without loss of text, missing the last blank sheet, but excellent. Insured and tracked shipping.
