Philip Terblanche is a renowned South African painter and artist from Cape Town.

Much of his work involves well-known South African people, but also landscapes.
South Africa has all (farmers) generals from the second Boer War (around 19th / 20th century) painted a portrait Boer War Museum in Bloemfontein, - for the museum Anglo. These hang in there yet.

This portrait probably dates from the early '70s saw the frame.
The original list has some minor damage.
The paintwork is in good condition.
