Drivetrain lights can also be switched on and off with the digital Control Unit.
Acceleration and deceleration delay is adjustable and can be switched on and off with the digital Control Unit.
Both the chassis and the boiler are made out of metal.

The locomotive functions have all been tested and are in good working order.

With the Franco-Crosti system a traditional locomotive boiler is supported by a second boiler.
This boiler pre-heats the feed-water using exhaust gas flow thus is an exhaust flue pre-heater.

The idea here was to achieve a 20% saving on coal consumption.
The appearance of the two flat smokestacks on either side of the boiler is quite remarkable.
This pre-heater was rather prone to corrosion and despite better efficiencies, the costs once more ran out of control.
