Literature, Poetry - Quantity: 1 - Numbered edition

Blank paperback with projecting edge, dust-jacket with flaps, woodcut by Francesco Gamba on the front panel. Beautiful frame for the titles, also drawn, editorial brand.
133 [15] numbered pages, black and white illustrations. Paper with deckle edges and editorial brand ‘E[ttore] S[erra]’ in watermark, specially manufactured by Magnani paper mill in Pescia.
Copy numbered 356 (of 500), on the first white page there is a dedication in pencil "Dono del Dott. Ettore Serra. Roma, ottobre-nov. 1936".
Splendid edition in large format of ‘Porto Sepolto’, considered by bibliographers the true first edition of this work.
The revisions and additions compared to the 1916 edition are many: in addition to the changes to the 30 poems (compared to the 33 of the first) are added the 26 poems (also with variations) taken from ‘Allegria di naufragi’ of 1919, and some unpublished poems.
Slight traces of wear at the top and bottom edges of the spine, a little browning between the sheets.
