-Reggatta de Blanc is The Police's second studio album. It was released on A&M Records in October 1979.
The album reached number one on the charts in Great Britain and Australia, and number 25 in the US.
In 1980 the band won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance for the title track.
Rolling Stone magazine ranked the album at number 369 of its 500 best albums of all time
