Vienna-Step Into...


A kind of Japanese supergroup, made up of musicians from the best Japanese prog groups of the 80s afflatus and later Gerard's bassist Toshimi Nagai. The band was signed by King Records and released their debut album "Overture" in 1998.
'' Overture '' and later Step into ... this contains some of the greatest elements of Japanese Prog of the 80s with some complex themes and guitars and various keyboard sounds. Tsukamoto, delivers an excellent symphonic intro with harpsichord and church organ, while his eye-catching synths are also outstanding later on. The guitar work is strong and consistent.

Vienna's debut has many beautiful and amateur moments, but this is also charming and partly unknown to fans of prog and symphonic rock, certainly interesting and something else.
