The Maybach Zeppelin is one of the most famous models in the line-up of international luxury cars from the 1930s. A great twelve-cylinder car that was built in countless versions between 1930 and 1937. The Maybach Zeppelin was one of the few cars in the international top class. They are very luxurious, extraordinarily lavishly equipped and top class in their technology, but only accessible to a few.
The Maybach Zeppelin DS8 Stromlinien Spohn was equipped with a great eight liter V-12 engine with 200 hp. The body was designed by Hermann Spohn, a favorite coachbuilder from Maybach.
In 1999 the limousine was bought from the second (!) Owner by the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart, Germany.
