Jourdan, Jean Batiste (Limoges 1762-Paris 1833) General in 1793 he was appointed Marshal of the Empire in 1804.He campaigned in America and attended the siege of Savannah, army of the north in 1792 served at Jemmapes, at Neerwinden, wounded at Hondschoote; Commander-in-Chief of the Army of the North 1793, Victor at Wattignies, delivered Maubeuge, winner at Arlon 1794 Winner at Fleurus. He was elected Deputy to the Council of Five Hundred in 1797, Army of Helvetia, Defeated in Stockach, served in Spain in Talavera 1809, President of the Council of War in charge of judging the Marécahal Ney in September 1815.
Letter addressed to the Prefect of the Sture for an application for Amnesty. Torino, Italy 30 prairial X (18 June 1802).
