H. Endlich is a pseudonym for Aris Marble (1887 - 1962) and Jan Simon Marble Jr. (1911-1990)..

Endlich is the surname of the mother of the painter and art dealer Henri Welter (1886-1948). He sold work of marbles under the name H. Endlich. Welter and Jan Simon Marbles, also known as Jan, were friends and lived near each other in The Hague. Welter had a shop in The Hague.

Jan Simon Marble was born in Leiden in 1911. He lived and worked in Wassenaar, Voorschoten and The Hague. He was a student of the Academy of Art in The Hague (1928-1932) and he painted in a figurative style landscapes, nature and cityscapes. He is seen as a follower of the Hague School. Jan Marble junior painted solely with natural light.
