A good Chinese famille rose bowl with butterflies, flowers and birds. First half of the 18th century, Yongzheng (1723-1796) to early Qianlong (1736-1795) period. Rare model!
Well potted with little round sides, finely painted with vivid green, blue, yellow, pink enamels and red iron, details highlighted with gold, interior with flower sprays, fruits and butterflies. Red iron and gilt flower in center of the interior, narrow band of gold and red iron stripes next to the edge.
Dimensions: diameter - 14 cm; height - 6,4 cm.
Weight - 197 g.
Conditions report:
Few very small chips to the top-rim and one bigger, two with associated hairlines. Painted decoration in very good condition, to include gilded.
