Beautiful set of two Japanese moon vases, porcelain. Hand painted with a decoration of a bird and blossom. The vases are marked on the bottom with Japanese characters, the translation is: Dai Nihon Taizan sei' 大日本帯山製. The name of the artist is Taizan Yohei. The vases have a two-sided painting; both vases are painted on one side with a blue background and on the other side with an orange background. This symbolises day and night. The paintwork is very delicate.

Size: 26 cm high, 20 cm wide and 5 cm deep.

The vases are in good condition with minimal signs of age, slight discolouration in the glaze here and there. The porcelain is completely intact, undamaged.
The photos provide a good impression of the condition of the lot and are part of the description.
