Exceptional medieval manuscript from a French book of hours, written in Latin written on vellum with black ink in Gothic script.
Recto text: 15 handwritten lines with a richly decorated, gold-painted filigree trail decoration on the left border.
Verso text: 14 handwritten lines with a richly decorated, gold-painted filigree trail decoration on the right border.
Size of the page: 18.9 × 13.3 cm.
Condition: Somewhat tanned to the edges (see photos), but exceptionally well-preserved after more than 600 years!
