This is a historic item relating to the “Texas Welcome Dinner” of President John F. Kennedy to be held at the Municipal Auditorium in Austin, Texas, on November 22, 1963, a 25 x 18 cm invitation to the dinner, which was scheduled to occur at 7:30 PM.

This invitation issued by "The State Democratic Executive Committee" to the guests for attending the US President John F. Kennedy & US Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson Texas Welcome Dinner.
It scheduled to occur on the night of Kennedy's assassination, this dinner would never take place.

Locke, Chairman / Mrs. Alfred Negley, Vice-Chairman / Mr. Frank C. Erwin, Jr., Secretary.”

In well preserved condition- one reasonable intersecting folds but no tears/holes.
