Marion to the Due of Bouillon and transported to her.
Daughter of Antoine Arnauld, sister of Robert Arnauld d’Andilly and of Angélique
Arnauld, Catherine Arnauld was the wife of Isaac Le Maistre (separated in 1616
because he converted to Protestantism), and the mother of several
outstanding Jansenist figures including Antoine Le Maistre and Louis-Isaac le Maistre de Sacy.
After the death of her husband in 1640, she became a nun in Port-Royal.
