I have here for sale a book entitled THE LIFE OF DAVID LIVINGSTONE, LL.D. The Great Missionary Explorer by J S ROBERTSON published by Walter Scott, London and Newcastle-upon-Tyne, in 1884. Second edition. This biography of David Livingstone includes 8 full-page sepia-tinted plates.
Blue cloth boards with a black decorative design and gilt lettering on the front board and spine. Minor marks on the boards, with fraying to the top and bottom of the spine. Gilt page edges. Yellowing to pages. The front hinge is badly cracked and the binding is a little loose, but all pages are intact and the book is in good overall condition. 320 pages. 19 x 13.5 cm.
