REELA Paris - Type “FM” - Tube radio

Description
REELA Paris - Type “FM” - Tube radio
Very good - Number of items: 1 - Including: Tube radio - Power cord

REELA Paris type “FM” radio.
The first radio to also receive the FM range produced by REELA; a rare model because in the 1950s in France FM transmissions were only in use in a few large cities.
Seven valves, four wave ranges (MW-LW-SW-FM); as in all 1950s radios, the FM range only receives 87.5 to 100 MHz. Tone and volume control, station search and controller for internal adjustable AM antenna, FM dipole antenna plus socket for additional antenna for improved AM reception, socket for amplifying a phonograph pickup.
Cabinet with original finish in good overall condition, there are only a few normal small marks, the glass of the tuning scale shows a repaired crack in the left corner (see photos).
The radio has been overhauled and some defective components have been replaced, it receives the FM range very well with its antenna, while for a better reception in the MW-LW-SW ranges an external antenna wire connected to the antenna socket of the radio is recommended.

Dimensions: 48 x 28 x 22.
