Fine Bindings, Literature - Quantity: 1 - Book

Charming little book bound in a remarkable contemporary binding, in the Bozerian style done in full brown morocco adorned in an unusual Empire style struck with small gilded stamping. All edges gilt, pink silk endpapers.

Very meticulous edition from the presses of Didot de Mélanie ou La religieuse, expanded with several pieces that “had only appeared in foreign editions; and short stories, the others scattered in newspapers.”

Apart from some marks of rubbing and slightly dog-eared corners, copy in excellent condition. Impeccable inside.
