2 beautiful tool object from Rolykit 

The Rolykit is made of sturdy plastic. It is a cleverly devised, hexagonal, rollable storage system. The system was invented and designed in 1973 by cinematographer Samuel Meijering.

Meijering was working on a film script and was distracted by the clutter on his desk. He thought of a solution, and then started drawing. Finally he put together the design made of cardboard by himself.

The Rolykit can be rolled out in one go, while the contents of the separate compartments will stay in place. The “secret” of the Rolykit is that every storage compartment only becomes accessible when it lies flat on a surface as it is unrolled. When rolling it back together, the bottom of one compartment becomes the lid of another compartment.

The Rolykit is in good and complete condition.

When unrolled, the Rolykit is 107 cm in length
