Very beautiful copy enriched with an original drawing and coming from the library of the British actor Henry Urwick (1859-1931).

Luxury edition in folio format, printed the same year as the original on the presses of R. & R. Clark in Edinburgh, of this play on the last years of Joan of Arc, performed for the first time on 28 December 1923.
Illustrated with 16 compositions in colour by the British artist Charles Ricketts (1866-1931), reproduced on glossy paper and pasted. It is the depiction of the the costumes that he made for the play, which are considered to be his most beautiful achievement.

Printed in 750 copies all of laid paper, watermarked “Hand Maid” (handmade).
Perfectly preserved copy, coming from the library of the British actor, Henry Urwick (1859-1931) with his ex-libris engraved on wood.

Volume enriched with a beautiful large drawing in India ink signed by Siss, showing one of the scenes of the play in the staging by Pierre Franck, featuring the actors Jacques Verlier, Jean-Pierre Kerien, Daniele Delorme, Jean Mercure, René Clermont et Maurice Chevit. This staging was performed at the Théâtre Montparnasse in 1969.
