Halloween - myth, legend, holiday. Here in Germany, too, the custom of roaming the dark streets in disguise on 31 October to collect sweets is becoming increasingly popular. Known as All Saints' Day in Germany, this holiday was originally associated with the Catholic Church and was brought to the USA by Catholic Irish. To honour the customs of Halloween night again this year, this special Halloween edition of the Maple Leaf comes with three spooky and beautiful motifs. The first coin of the 2021 edition with the title Trick or Treat features three monsters, a pumpkin and a skull, which are looking mischievously at the observer, as well as the inscription "Trick or Treat".
