The Märklin 37123 is a locomotive set with 2 electric locomotives of the construction series NS 1200 of the Dutch Railways (NS), of which 1 in red-brown and 1 in a turquoise color, both locomotives are for period III. The locomotives are digital and equipped with a high-performance motor (5* DCM and with an MFX decoder with sound function. The model is driven on four axles and has 4 traction tires. The lighting is digitally switchable and consists of a 3-point front signal and a 2 -point red marker light which changes when the direction of travel is switched. The lighting consists of maintenance-free warm white and red light emitting diodes (LEDs). The model has separately mounted metal hand rails. Included are plastic brake lines which can be mounted on the buffer beam. Both models are accommodated in a wooden box and a certificate of authenticity is included, as well as booklets/manual and warranty card This set is a one-time edition with a limited edition of 555 pieces.

The length of the locomotives over the buffers is 20.8 cm for each locomotive.
