ASSOCIATED WITH: Gabriel de Preau. Rudimenta Prima Grammatices, Ex Eruditissimis quibusque Gramaticis excerpta. Paris, Gabrielis Buon, 1578. 41 pp. With on the verso of the title page a unique and very old manuscript in Latin, signed Joannes (=Jean?) de Bigue.
Two very rare works in one binding.
Good condition. Tire nice. Light wear, hinge partly broken. Something spotty. Interior good. Inner hinges partly broken, but book block still firmly attached to the binding. Paper slightly browned and slightly dirty. A modern sheet of paper loosely mounted on the inside of the cover (see detailed photo).
Provenance: with two old notes from previous owners on the title page: "S. Petri Altimontensis" and "D. Aegidius Tilman". It may be Egidius Tilman (baptized in Sas van Gent, Zeeland, June 13, 1741).
