Paul Chambrillon is offering for the first time an anthology of Louis-Ferdinand Céline, with whom he made recordings in 1955. This set of 2 compact discs includes texts by Céline recorded by Michel Simon, Arletty, Pierre Brasseur and interviews by 'Albert Zbinden and Louis Pauwels with Céline.
This sound work is accompanied by a booklet presenting writings by Paul Chambrillon, Albert Zbinden and Jean d'Ormesson of the Académie française.

Emile Brami's text takes us back to Céline's brilliant work (“Journey to the end of the night”, “Death on credit”, “Bagatelles pour un massacre”, “Les Beaux-Draps”, “Interviews with the professor Y ”,“ Féerie pour une autre fois ”,“ Normance ”,“ Nord ”), but also directly addresses the anti-Semitic pamphleteer, as well as his relationship to images and television.

Céline talks about his two professions, writer and doctor, how he came to writing, the release of Voyage au bout de la nuit, and the effect this book had on the literary world. He explains that "the reader is in the same position as a passenger on board the liner (...) he is there to revel in".
