I personally bought this drawing from Moebius and his representative at the Atlanta Fantasy Fair in Atlanta, Georgia in 1984 or 1985. This was when comics and their conventions were a very specialized niche, and it was easy to meet and talk to the creators one on one. He was best known at this point for his work in Heavy Metal magazine (Metal Hurlant). His work on movies like Blade Runner and other science fiction outside comics was not well known. He was just making a name for himself in América.
This drawing is currently framed and has been in my possession since I bought it. The drawing uses pen and four colored markers. It has one minor defect at the top of the characters head/hat where a drop of water or something else got on the drawing before it was framed obscuring the hat on the figure very slightly.
The original drawing without the frame and matting is 5 x 7 inches. The framed picture measures about 9 by 12 inches.
