Original - Good condition

With heavy pain in my heart, i have decided to sell this unique Normandie/Battle of the Bulge 1944/1945 grouping due to change of collecting interest. This grouping is really something, belonging to PAUL V WOLLER, a medic. He served with the 109th evacuation hospital that participated in the battls of the Normandy and the battle of the bulge! The unique aspect that he was featured in a 1994 interview, telling about his war experiences. See attached screenshots.. This unique grouping contains:

** A-CLASS tunic. The jacket with medic collar disks has the beautiful ETO (European Theatre) patch on the sleeve. IT has 4 1/2 year chevrons, denoting he served 2 years overseas from Normandy, Battle of the Bulge to the surrender of Germany and occupation shortly after (he was discharged in late 1945, see attached screenshots). The jacket is in a beautiful condition, and again, also has his medic collar tabs The jacket also contains the ribbions of the medals he earned (Good Conduct Medal, European-African campaign with 4!!! battle stars and a WW2 victory medal, and this is consistent with the newspaper article, demonstrating that he participated in major battles in Europe, including Normandy and battle of the Bulge. He thus has seen tremenous amount of war time experiences as a medic on the front line. , but these jackets were not made after 1945 anyway as they were replaced by the ike jacket already.

- His nice early war set of dog tags with the full information, dating from 1943 (he received his tetanus shots in 1943 snd 1944).
- His Good Conduct medal in its original cardboard box dating from may 1944

Again, no damage on the uniform, just in great untouched condition. Please see all the photos.

Fantastic original WW2 US Uniform grouping with a great historic value and a really interesting project to further research. See also my other interesting WW2 items that I offer for auction on catawiki!
