Paul Signac - Lettre autographe signée - 1925

Paul Signac - Lettre autographe signée - 1925

Handwritten letter signed and written by the painter Paul Signac 28 June 1925, Lézardrieux.

In this signed three-page letter in turquoise blue ink on relatively fine paper, Paul Signac addresses a colleague about his “extraordinary successor.” Indeed, he specifies that he has received nothing from the latter- concerning paintings - and is waiting for these pieces. He then writes of his adventures since Vannes where he stayed for fifteen days until he came to his “current” location.
In a short postscript he asks: "Pour la plaque D.A.S. est-ce à M. Fleury que je dois m'adresser ?"
