A famous anatomical atlas by Eduard Pernkopf with more than 700 beautifull engravings.

Entitled: “Atlas der topographischen und angewandten Anatomie des Menschen”, published by Professor Dr. Helmut Ferner, director of the Institute of Anatomy of the University of Heidelberg.

First volume “Kopf und Hals” (Head and Neck) with 332 mostly multicoloured illustrations on 356 pages. First edition from 1963 (Urban & Schwarzenberg Munich and Berlin) and second volume “Brust, Bauch und Extremitäten” (Thorax, Abdomen and Extremities) with 378 mostly multicoloured illustrations on 421 pages. First edition from 1964 (Urban & Schwarzenberg Munich and Berlin).

Both volumes are in good condition for their age, see photos. Both books are rare first editions and contain images that are no longer included in later new editions with amazing detail.
