Paris, Paul Ducrocq publisher, no dates (but printed in 1886), 1 large octavo volume, hardbound in full percaline stamped with a beautiful black and gold decoration (Volcanoes and Pompeii), all edges gilt, 492 p. and engravings in the text and tipped-in.
The binding is nicely preserved condition. Sunned spine (discoloured), angles in good condition. A snag in the upper edge of the back cover and at its joint. The binding is holding together well. Scattered foxing, nothing serious. Rubbing.
