You are bidding on the most successful and limited edition album of the American hardrock band Guns N’ Roses, in near mint condition (!):
- A 1987 First European Press of Guns n’ Roses ‘Appetite for Destruction’ with the forbidden and withdrawn sleeve of a girl being raped by robots, released on Geffen Records 924 148-1 with first press matrix runouts 1A/1B and a printed black inner sleeve with lyrics and live band photos! The back cover also shows the UK catalogue-number WX 125.
The original artwork of Robert Willi Ams gave such a shock in the States, that many vinyl-shops refused to sell the album.
The first studioalbum of Guns n’ Roses was quickly withdrawn and the cover replaced with a tattoo-styled motive. So you won’t find many copies of this cover!
