Here is a signed ‘mint’ (never read) First Edition of The Downing Street Years by Margaret Thatcher the Iron Lady herself. This is first edition of this influential biography, which was published in 1993 by HarperCollins contains 41 photographic plates, of which 8 plates are full colour photographs.
Thatcher's legacy as a pioneer of neoliberal economics continues strong to this day, and she accordingly has a strong claim to being the most influential British politician of the 20th Century. In this autobiography, she tells the story of her meteoric ascendency to power in her own words. Thatcher was a divisive figure who was reviled and loved, in equal measure. Her death in 2013 was both celebrated, and mourned across the UK.
